Jackie was inspired to become an acupuncturist by receiving excellent treatment herself.
Then in 1998 she had a serious car crash and fractured her skull. She recovered naturally with the help of acupuncture and other complementary therapies. She also began to regularly practise Qi Gong a form of Chinese exercise for health which she continues.
Jackie is a fully qualified, licensed acupuncturist and a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading from 1995 1999.
Before studying acupuncture she trained in holistic massage, aromatherapy and acupressure. She keeps up-to-date with regular postgraduate education in areas of special interest to her, such as back care and fertility treatment. To help maintain the highest standards of practice, she has professional supervision.
She is also a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network, a group of traditional and medical acupuncturists dedicated to supporting individuals and couples in all aspects of fertility care.
She lives in the village of Congresbury, with her husband and three children.
