In addition to my work as a practitioner, I offer one to one, or group, mentoring and supervision.
Supervision provides a safe and confidential space in which to discuss your work. It gives you a regular opportunity to focus on difficult areas of practice.
It is also a place for recognising your achievements, building up your resources and getting support for yourself as a practitioner.
Issues commonly arising are: boundaries, the client-practitioner relationship, growing and shaping your practice, developing expertise in Chinese medicine, practitioner isolation, stress and work-life balance.
I trained at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and have been in practice since 1999. I have done postgraduate trainings in fertility treatment and other trainings in treating musculo-skeletal conditions. I enjoy QiGong. I gained a diploma in LifeCoaching in 2005 and I have been receiving mentoring and supervision myself since 2006.
In 2010 I successfully completed the one year training in supervision for acupuncturists run by Isobel Cosgrove. I currently organise the British Acupuncture Council regional group, for Bristol and North Somerset which aims to create regular opportunities for local acupuncturists to meet and exchange ideas.
If you are interested in supervision, please telephone me to discuss on 01934 876558.
