Fertility - IVF
I met Jackie in August 2006 having come to the realisation that IVF would be my only chance to have a child. I was told that acupuncture had been shown to increase the success of IVF treatment, so I contacted Jackie through the health centre. She treated me generally for several months prior to the IVF during which time my general health and feeling of wellbeing improved. Then, specifically, according to protocols throughout two cycles of IVF. The second cycle was a complete success and I now have a beautiful little girl.
Jackie always provided a calm, safe, welcoming atmosphere for our sessions. She was an immense support to me throughout the process. For an hour each mad, emotional week I stopped. She 'reset' me and sent me back out into the world, being better than when I had arrived.P.A. from Somerset
Hay Fever
Since having acupuncture each month over the past 2 1/2 years, I have found my general health to have improved. I get fewer colds and feel energised and healthy too.

Back Pain
I first saw Jackie in 2007, based on a personal recommendation. Suffering from acute lower back pain, my GP referred me to a specialist who diagnosed a slipped disc, recommending surgery as the only means to recover. I was extremely concerned about having surgical intervention, so I consulted Jackie.
In Jackie, I found a very professional, calm and caring individual; someone who is a good listener and can offer sound advice beyond acupuncture. Following a course of treatment comprising acupuncture and massage I made a significant recovery. I was able to stop taking my pain killers and during a follow up appointment with my specialist, her conclusion was to cancel the operation that in her own words had seemed an absolute certainty.
